A linen bed slung on leather straps inside a birch plywood frame. The linen takes the shape of the body; the frame stays put while the hammock swings gently.

The design
The Vila frame is two A-legs and a single beam between them. The linen bed hangs from the beam on four leather straps; change their length to change the height.
Leather is the one exception in the material list: it stretches over the years to fit the cat’s weight, and needs no washing the way linen does.

The linen washes at 30°C. Wipe the straps with a dry cloth; a leather balm once a year is enough.
