Our design approach
Why shouldn't pet furniture look like furniture? mumm is one industrial designer's answer. Every piece starts on the drawing board, is cut from birch plywood, sealed with a water-based finish that's safe to lick and chew, and treated with the same seriousness as any other object in your home: measure, proportion, joinery detail, honest materials.
Workshop
One question from the workshop
We design for cats and want the piece to belong in your home. Anything that fails either test doesn't go into production. The layered birch edge is our signature, not a flaw; the joints stay hidden, the sisal modules swap, the piece comes apart for moving.
