An enclosed house built around the instinct to hide. One entrance at the front, a second escape opening at the back, so the cat is never cornered. The roof lifts off for cleaning.

The design
Koja started from the idea that a cat house can stand in the middle of a living room. The body is four birch plywood panels joined without fasteners; the visible layered edge at the corners is the only ornament.
The diameter of the entrance was set from whisker width: wide enough not to brush going through, narrow enough to feel closed once inside.

The cushion washes at 30°C. Wipe the wood with a damp cloth; one coat of water-based protection a year is enough.
