A spring bent from a single piece of birch plywood. It gives gently as the cat steps on, and settles when the cat does. The cushion is removable, washable linen; the underside is non-slip felt.

The design
The whole of Vagga comes from one strip of plywood: two ends on the floor, a long spring between them carrying the weight. No fixings, no hinge; the rocking comes from the material’s own flex.
The 12 mm thickness was calculated for a 15 kg load. The spring returns even with two cats on it at once.
